Michelle Villarreal began her claims career over 30 years ago, with Cigna Companies while attending St. Mary’s University in San Antonio. She is the President and CEO of Occupational Accident Risk, Inc, a Third Party Administrator specializing in Texas work injury programs. They have been in the Third Party Administration industry since 2006, offering services in both workers compensation and Texas Non Subscription.

In 2019 Occupational Accident Risk rebranded themselves concentrating solely on the nuances of Texas Non Subscription programs.

Mrs. Villarreal has obtained several professional designations and licenses to include an Associate in Claims (AIC), Associate in Insurance (AINS).  She is a Texas DWC Certified Ethics CEU provider, maintains a TPA license and 03 adjusters license. She is a member of the National Association of Women Business Owners and the Association for Responsible Alternatives to Workers Compensation (ARAWC). She has extensive experience in ERISA based plan administration and Excess coverage programs.

Occupational Accident Risk has established a reputation in the industry of being able to blend TPA services with insurance products. They have a unique understanding of insurance products, policy coverage, subrogation, ERISA plans and requirements, alternative dispute resolution to include mediation, and all lines of specialty risk.
