Colby Allen is a consultant with AgencyFocus who has over 10 years of industry experience in finance, operations, analytics, and project management. During that time he has worked with regional agencies, national agencies, and a regional carrier. Notable projects include refinement of agency finance and operational reporting processes as well as assist in acquisitions to plan and support revenue reconciliations and book of business rolls for acquired agencies. He has also worked to build a proprietary analytics platform to provide insights into producer performance which was used to enhance new business sales, revenue retention, and monitoring of new producers in the validation process.

His current endeavors include fair market valuation services for small to mid-sized agencies, as well as fractional CFO engagements to help agencies set and achieve growth goals for exit planning.

He attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette where he earned a B.S. in Insurance & Risk Management with a Minor in Finance, an M.B.A. in Finance Operations, as well as industry certifications including the AIDA, ARM, and CXAP.
