Sad Announcement …
It is with great sadness that I have to inform the AAIMCO Family of the passing of Tom Braniff.
Tom passed away late Friday afternoon from a heart attack suffered at home.
He leaves a great void in the history of AAIMCO and is one of those most responsible for reviving the organization in the 90’s.
He served multiple terms as President and was instrumental in helping to cover many of the costs associated with our Executive Director.
His wise counsel and leadership will be missed.
Above all else, he was a great friend to many of us on a personal level and that will leave a void that can’t be filled.
I asked him to participate in a Board conference call a little over a week ago to discuss this year’s conference and he expressed excitement in being able to attend and see everyone again.
There will always be a chair and name plate for Tom at our conferences to come.
At the moment, no service plans have been made as they will likely be delayed at least 7 to 10 days.
I will advise when those are finalized.
If you would like to send a card of sympathy to Wendy, those can be mailed to the following address and they will make sure she receives them.

At this year’s conference, the Board will offer possible ways that the AAIMCO Family might honor Tom’s legacy in the insurance industry.
Keep Wendy and their family in your thoughts and prayers.
