Member News

Good day everyone,

Within the next day or two you will be receiving a LinkedIn Invitation to join the new AAIMCo LinkedIn site (  . Since “membership” on our LinkedIn site is limited to AAIMCo members only, sending invitations to join is the most convenient method to allow everyone the opportunity to join.

Note: While membership to the site is limited, ANYONE can be a follower of the site.

Last time I checked, there were only six AAIMCo members who did not have a LinkedIn Membership – – or that I could not find on LinkedIn. I will personally contact those six to see if there is interest.

So why join the AAIMCo LinkedIn site?

When you post a Member News Article on the AAIMCo “web site”, you can now elect to have a notice about the news broadcast to the AAIMCo LinkedIn site. While you do not need to be a LinkedIn member to use this function, doing so will enhance your presence on the web and increase the benefit of being an AAIMCO & LinkedIn member.

Once you are a member of the AAIMCo/LinkedIn site, your news article will not only be broadcast to our site, but to your personal/business LinkedIn site as well. In other words, one post on AAIMCo Member News = three directed posts (AAIMCO Web/AAIMCO LinkedIn/Personal LinkedIn). In addition, we all have LinkedIn followers who get notices about our posts, and they have followers and so on.

All AAIMCo information including news posts that we elect to make public are searchable on the web.

The process is very easy:

  1. Accept membership to the AAIMCo LinkedIn Site when your invitation arrives.
  2. Whenever you post a news article on the AAIMCo website, make sure to elect POST MEMBERSHIP NEWS TO: AAIMCO & LINKEDIN

Also be aware that all attachments and hot links in your news article will be sent to the LinkedIn site. This is great because you can link your personal website (or any web reference/URL) to any AAIMCo news article.

Please start using the AAIMCo member news site. Its not about bragging, its about our professional work, writings, achievements, and accomplishments.

Please let me know if you have any questions or need any assistance regarding the LinkedIn or AAIMCo sites or their functionality.

Wishing all a Very Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Happy New Year – – or just Seasons Cheer!
