PROFESSIONAL EMPLOYMENT HISTORY

1979 to present Mr. Hair is the Executive Vice President of the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of Arizona, Inc. which is a professional trade association representing independent insurance agents and brokers in Arizona. In that position, Mr. Hair established and remains active in the professional liability insurance program which requires him to be responsible for underwriting, statistical data, production, marketing and loss prevention in the professional liability area. Past responsibilities with the association include being Director of Education for the association in which he developed and administered technical courses in commercial lines coverage, personal lines coverage, insurance law, regulation and related business activities. In addition to administering a staff of nine professionals, Mr. Hair regularly consults with members of the Arizona Legislature involving insurance related legislation and monitors legislative affairs for the IIABA. Mr. Hair also has primary responsibility for State and Federal Government
relations as a registered lobbyist.

Mr. Hair believes that in order to carry out his professional responsibilities he must be completely current on the principles and practicalities of the insurance profession. Mr. Hair frequently participates in “hands on” activities in various agencies throughout the state including participation in all aspects of agency operations from production to client calls and assisting customer service representatives with policyholder needs. This allows Mr. Hair to remain current on agency practices including advances in automation and industry practices. As such, he remains up to date on the standards of current agency operations which assists with his teaching, counseling agencies and with the administration of the Association which employees him as well as representing his membership before the Legislature and various State and Federal Agencies.

EMPLOYMENT

1985 to Present Independent Consultant and Expert Witness for insurance litigation and
insurance related matters principal in Insurance Litigation and Consulting, LLC.

1981 to Present National Faculty member for Society of Certified Insurance Counselors. He has
developed and presented educational programs for this Society in over fifteen states. Subjects
qualified for include both commercial and personal insurance coverage, legal concepts, and risk
management.

1972 to 1979 American Western Insurance Agency. Positions held included agency owner,
corporate officer, producer, staff management and financial officer. Specialty programs included
mobile home dealerships, financial institution collateral protection coverage, wholesale food
distributors, professional liability and small/medium retail establishments.

1971 to 1972 Jane McDaniel Insurance Agency. Customer service within a multi-line property
and casualty insurance agency.

1969 to 1971 State Farm Insurance Company. Property Appraisal and Inspection. Agency
assigned for training – Charles E. Trantina Agency in Sun City, Arizona.

and assisted in the development and implementation of the City of Phoenix self insurance
program. Served as a volunteer member on the City of Phoenix Insurance and Risk
Management Committee to assist in the placement, and review of excess insurance programs.

1980 to present – Member of Arizona Department of Insurance agent/broker License Exam
Review Board.
