Kristen Drake is President of PolicyFind and a nationally recognized Insurance Archaeology professional with more than 25 years of professional experience, including over a decade in historical insurance research, business strategy, and operational leadership. She advises policyholders, attorneys, insurers, municipalities, educational and religious institutions, manufacturers, and developers on locating and reconstructing lost or incomplete liability insurance programs.

Her work has helped clients identify millions of dollars in historical insurance assets available to address defense costs, settlements, and environmental remediation. Her experience includes complex, long-tail liabilities involving environmental contamination, PFAS, asbestos, toxic torts, and historical abuse claims. Kristen also provides expert witness and litigation support services related to Insurance Archaeology and historical insurance research. She oversees PolicyFind’s Specimen Policy Library, an extensive collection of historical policy forms used to evaluate and reconstruct missing coverage.

Kristen is a frequent author and speaker on Insurance Archaeology, historical insurance recovery, and emerging liability trends. She is also a member of the Association of Professional Insurance Women, the American Bar Association, and the Indiana State Bar Association.
