Kearson (Malmgren) Strong is a property claims consultant and claims handling expert with over 37 years experience in the insurance industry.  Kearson started her career as a civil/structural engineer specializing in forensic investigations.  As Kearson was “raised in the insurance industry”, as both her parents were insurance adjusters, Kearson saw an opportunity to have more people interaction while also utilizing her engineering background in the field of property insurance adjusting.  Kearson has been engaged with over 100 different insurance companies as an independent insurance adjuster in both the homeowner and commercial property arenas.  She has adjusted claims from simple small homeowner to complex claims including manufacturing, factory, and refinery commercial claims.  Kearson also worked as a claims manager for insurance companies.  She has also been the director of the homeowner subrogation department for an insurance company overseeing all subrogation activities in seventeen states.

Kearson started her own company, Strong Consulting in 2021, to provide services as an appraiser and umpire in insurance appraisals as well as a claims handling expert in bad faith litigation.

Kearson owns an educational company, Claims Training Institute, which provides educational seminars for groups with a specialty in investigating and adjusting earthquake claims.

As a side hustle, Kearson and her daughter own a small Shetland Sheep farm, called 3 Peaks Farm, with approximately 65 Dual Registered Fine Fleece Shetland sheep which keeps them very busy during lambing season in March each year.
