Mr. Andrews has appeared as expert witness at trial and in deposition in multiple legal actions involving commercial insurance coverage across the country. His litigation work has encompassed disputes involving:

Mr. Andrews has also drafted proprietary commercial lines insurance coverage forms and proprietary commercial lines coverage enhancement endorsements for insurers and agent organizations, many of which were designed for specific business operations.
He has made presentations for numerous industry organizations, including the annual meeting of the National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies; the National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies’ Commercial Lines Seminar; the Insurance Journal/Academy of Insurance; the Indiana State University Networks Financial Institute; the Insurance Board of Northern Ohio; the Federation of Insurance Women of Texas; The National Alliance; and PIA affiliates in Ohio, Indiana, West Virginia and South Carolina. His article on data breaches was published in The Standard, the monthly New England insurance journal, in January, 2015. He currently serves as a faculty member for the IIABA’s Virtual University “Ask An Expert” service.
Mr. Andrews earned the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) professional designation in 1983 and is a member of The CPCU Society and its Coverage, Litigators and Expert Witness (CLEW) Interest Group. He is a past president of Grand Lake Chapter of The CPCU Society and a past president of Underwriting Executives Council. He is a Professional Member of the American Association of Insurance Management Consultants.
In addition to the CPCU designation , Mr. Andrews has also earned the Associate in Risk Management (ARM), Accredited Adviser in Insurance (AAI), Associate in Commercial Underwriting – Management (AU-M), Associate in Reinsurance (ARe), Associate in Claims (AIC), Associate in Marine Insurance Management (AMIM), and Associate in Surplus Lines Insurance (ASLI) professional designations awarded by The Institutes. He earned The Institutes’ “Award for Academic Excellence” for both the AMIM and ASLI designation programs. He has also earned IRMI’s Construction Risk & Insurance Specialist (CRIS) designation.
Mr. Andrews is a graduate of Indiana University and The Catholic University of America. He is also a U.S. Navy veteran, and an Eagle Scout.
